{"id":5291,"date":"2024-02-01T17:53:09","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T16:53:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wicklowrfc.ie\/clone\/?page_id=5291"},"modified":"2024-02-01T19:21:40","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T18:21:40","slug":"respect-our-game","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wicklowrfc.ie\/clone\/respect-our-game\/","title":{"rendered":"Respect Our Game!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The IRFU are calling on all clubs to take part in a second \u201c Respect Of Game \u201c&nbsp; by running a series of activities over the weekend of&nbsp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> to 4<sup>th<\/sup> &nbsp;February to remind all those of the values of the game, specifically the importance of RESPECT, for players, volunteers, members and spectators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main reasons why adults drop out of sport is that they feel \u201cthey didn\u2019t belong or didn\u2019t feel welcomed\u201d. Specifically, young players say, \u201cit wasn\u2019t fun anymore\u201d. When people have a positive experience, they stay involved for longer and may look to give back to the club during their membership.
